South Main Women’s Ministry goal is to encourage women of all ages to be fully equipped to affectively influence the lives of their family, friends, and those God places in their paths. Various activities and Bible studies are offered to cultivate community, spiritual enrichment, and encouragement as we travel life’s journey together as sisters in Christ.
Main Women’s Ministry offers various in-depth Bible study and Discipleship groups, which typically meet on Monday evenings and repeated on Tuesday mornings. Special events for women include a quarterly Women’s Night of Worship, yearly Women’s Retreat, game night, a Spring Banquet, Spirit of Christmas craft night, and much more.

WMU
Women’s Ministry is enhanced by a strong Women on Missions organization. Their monthly meeting focuses on Missions at home and around the world. They meet the first Thursday of each month (September-May) at 10:00 a.m. or 7:00 p.m. in the Great Hall. (Lunch is available for the morning group for $3.)
Mission Projects
Southmainers volunteer their time and skills to help around our church, community, state, and world. We have regular workdays where women and men (men are welcome too!) help with repairs around the church and small construction projects. We are also a part of TBM Disaster Relief.
Prayer
Prayer is an essential part of our Women’s Ministry. Please join us in praying for our church family as well as for those in our extended community and world. Pray for those who do not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, that they may come to know, love, and serve Him to the glory of God. And pray for those who are serving our Lord through mission projects around the world, especially during these truly challenging times.
