South Main’s Missions

 

 

One of our goals is to reach people outside the walls of South Main Baptist Church.We support 34 mission sites located in both Harris and Fort Bend counties, in apartments, houses, and strip centers which consist of Anglos, Hispanics, African-Americans, Koreans, Indians, Russians, and Apartment Ministry at several area apartment complexes. We also host a Hispanic and an Indian congregation in our buildings on Sundays and Wednesdays.

 

A few service projects that we organize for the missions sites are: Sports Camps, VBS, Bible Clubs, Chirstmas Gifts for the Children, Canned Goods (memebrs bring canned goods the last Sunday of each month to give to missions and we provide bibles for the mission sites.

 

We are always open to new volunteers to work with our local mission churches to help reach people for Christ through these activities.
